FAQ

Everything you need before the walk.

Straight answers about reservations, pricing, arrival, accessibility and changing your plans.

Is the tour really free?

There is no fixed ticket price. At the end, you choose a tip that feels fair for your experience and budget.

How much should I tip?

It is completely your choice. Most walkers leave between €15 and €30 per person, depending on how they feel about the tour and what suits their budget.

Where do we meet?

At the St. Cyril & St. Methodius Monument in central Ohrid. Arrive five minutes early and look for Damian in a black V-neck T-shirt.

How long does the walk take?

Around 1 hour and 30 minutes, with an easy, conversational pace and time for questions.

Is it suitable for children or pets?

This experience is designed for guests aged 14 and over and may include occasional mature humour. Friendly pets are welcome, but the old town has cobbles, slopes and steps.

What if I cannot attend?

Use the secure link in your confirmation email to change or cancel your booking. Please cancel as early as you can so Damian is not waiting for you.

Is the route wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately, the old-town route includes uneven cobbles, slopes and steps and is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

What happens in rain or extreme heat?

The tour normally continues in light rain. In storms, extreme heat or unsafe conditions, Damian may adjust the route, starting time or cancel the walk. Booked guests will be contacted directly.

Can I book a private or large-group tour?

The public tour is intentionally small. Contact Damian with your date and group size before making a large reservation so he can suggest the right option.

Are baklava and tea guaranteed?

They are a favourite part of the usual route, but depend on venue opening times and availability. Tell Damian about allergies or dietary restrictions before the walk.
